As a professional software engineer and cloud architect, I have been building software solutions for over 30 years. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), summa cum laude, from Texas Tech University. I enjoy teaching technology topics in an accessible and friendly way.

Professionally, I have worked at large tech companies like Microsoft, smaller startups, and everything in between. I have also founded and managed my own software companies. My experience includes building full-stack applications from the ground up using technologies such as React, Node.js, and ASP.NET, with both relational and NoSQL databases, deployed in production environments on AWS and Azure. In the AI/ML space, I have fine-tuned both vision and LLM models and integrated them into production applications.

In addition to my professional experience, I am an experienced educator who is passionate about teaching. I designed and taught an Advanced Programming course at Colorado Christian University, which was well received by students and faculty alike. Students consistently noted my ability to connect theoretical concepts to real-world applications, making even complex topics approachable and engaging.
