Now I am working as a personal trainer and aim to attend a DPT program within the next few years. I have experience working in a neuroregeneration-focused lab at Houston Methodist Hospital as a summer intern and research assistant over the course of two years. In addition to this, I have completed many upper-level math and science courses and have effective written and oral fluency in Spanish. I am proficient in standardized testing logic and SAT skills. On my own SAT, I received a perfect score in the math section and a score of 1570 overall.
I have previously tutored with Houston Public Library, covering basic Algebra for a GED program over the course of several months and I have been teaching Taekwondo to kids for 4 years. This job requires leading, enforcing discipline with, and helping groups of up to 30 students from ages 3 to 14 for up to 6 hours a day. During the two years, I have also been working at a local elementary school helping teach an after-school Taekwondo program to groups of 20 elementary-age children.
