I love learning and teaching others about my favorite subjects. I've been in college since I was eighteen and only stopped because I desired to join the military. When I was discharged I immediately enrolled myself at the local college and started up gain. I spent the first few years taking classes for an English degree, but changed this year to Science. Reading and writing are definitely my strongest areas and excelling in them comes naturally. I began informally tutoring my friends three years ago in Math and English and learned that everyone has a different learning style. Sometimes, unfortunately, we have a block that keeps us from 'getting' something and it helps if someone puts it in a different way.
I am also a major history buff and I try to take every class I can on the subject. Art history and world history are my favorites. In art history I used to make up songs to help me through my tests when I had to remember twenty or thirty specific dates at a time. It really paid off.
