My name is Eva, and I’m an undergraduate chemistry student at the University of Colorado. I recently completed research on a new form of cancer treatment, so I know firsthand how science and math connect to real-life, industry applications.
I also understand how confusing STEM subjects can be—I’ve been there and faced the same struggles. Whether it’s high school biology, chemistry, or even college-level organic chemistry and psychology, I’ve tackled those challenges and can help (yes, even with the tough AP classes). Over the years, I’ve had many teachers and professors, and I’ve learned which study methods are the most effective. The best teachers all shared one thing in common: they emphasized understanding and practice rather than memorization and recitation. This is the same approach I use in my own teaching—starting with theory, connecting it to engaging real-world applications, and finishing with guided practice.
Through hosting and leading study groups for my classmates, I’ve also learned that everyone learns differently. To support this, I adjust how I explain and approach topics to fit each student’s unique needs.
I’m so excited to share my passion and help students succeed in subjects I truly love. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up an appointment!
