I hate to think that people are turned off from a subject just because it hasn't been explained in a way that makes sense.
I have experience tutoring peers during high school. I have been tutoring in chemistry for the last two years. I worked both one-on-one with students and in small groups. During these times I listen to what the person needs help with and we go from there. Sometimes the student won't know where to start and I can add more structure when that happens.
I also have tutoring experience in Biology and Math, each only one year experience.
