I currently co-teach Social Studies as an English as a New Language specialist, where I modify and adapt curriculum to help students access grade-level content while strengthening reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. I also hold endorsements in Elementary Education, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (K–12), Gifted & Talented, and Special Education (ages 5–21).
My tutoring focuses on practical, confidence-building skills: reading comprehension, decoding and fluency support, academic vocabulary, paragraph and essay writing, and classroom discussion skills. I use clear scaffolds, explicit instruction, and individualized strategies so students understand what to do and how to do it.
I work with students individually and in small groups, and I especially enjoy supporting multilingual learners, students who need structured literacy support, and families looking for targeted academic growth rather than generic homework help.
