I am a Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering student, and math is a crucial part of my everyday coursework. I specialize in tutoring math for STEM students and anyone who wants a stronger foundation for science and engineering classes. I tutor topics from middle school math through calculus and differential equations, and I can also tutor in physics from introductory topics through quantum mechanics.

I have experience helping classmates and peers in one on one study sessions and group review sessions, where the goal isn't just to finish a problem but to understand the process well enough to apply it on your own. With my own experience in STEM classes, any small gaps in fundamentals can make later topics feel much harder, so I focus on building strong core skills and problem solving habits. We will work through homework or test prep step by step, and I'll show you how to set up problems clearly, check your work, and avoid common mistakes.

In each tutoring session I'm patient, supportive, and each session is focused on true understanding. I start by asking a few quick questions to pinpoint where the confusion starts, then we rebuild from there with clear examples and multiple approaches. I like showing students that the topics they are working on are not very different from concepts they have learned in the past. I have found that this makes new material feel significantly less intimidating. I also connect concepts to practical uses like reading graphs, working with units, and understanding rates of change. My goal is for you to leave each session knowing what to do, why it works, and how to solve similar problems with confidence.

Precalculus

Precalculus

I’m qualified to tutor Precalculus because I use this math constantly in my coursework and I’m comfortable teaching it in a clear, structured way. I’ve completed and I’m currently working on higher level math, and I regularly work with core precalc topics like functions, trigonometry, inverse trig, identities, and solving trig equations. I also have hands on experience tutoring classmates and peers in one on one sessions and group reviews. I like to break down problems into clear steps, explain the “why” behind each move, and help students build confidence so they can solve new problems independently. I focus on common trouble spots (unit circle, reference angles, radians vs degrees, and proofs just to name a few). I also create practice for the student to complete on their own time and in our meetings. The goal is for every student to leave each session feeling more confident in each topic they’re working on.
