I am a PhD candidate in English at FSU and I hold an MFA from the University of Houston. I also have dual bachelor's degrees in math and English. While my classroom teaching experience has all been in English, I have tutored undergraduate-level English, math, and physics during my graduate education. Most of my repeat clientele have been physics and upper-level math students since it's a little harder to find competent tutors in those subjects.

I have a bachelor's degree in math, and my pedagogy is unique because of my unique background. My pedagogical training in the humanities also influences my approach to STEM fields. I believe in student agency and the importance of process rather than simply product. I'm able to handle any undergraduate-level math course except statistics. I can also handle college/university physics I and II.
Please contact me if you're interested in math, physics, and/or English sessions! I'm available both in-person and online. For in-person sessions, I ask that everyone be vacc'd and masked—I am vacc'd and will be masked.
