My daughter is always rapt at attention, following along, answering prompts and *looking* truly interested. The lessons are a good mix of Flora guiding and my daughter doing--and clearly learning. Also a good mix of "actual" math and SAT test-taking strategies, which we all known is an important skillset to have (like it or not!)....

For the past six weeks, Flora has been helping my daughter prep for SAT math. They begin around 5 on Tuesdays and I come home from work mid-way through the lessons. My daughter is always rapt at attention, following along, answering prompts and *looking* truly interested. The lessons are a good mix of Flora guiding and my daughter doing--and clearly learning. Also a good mix of "actual" math and SAT test-taking strategies, which we all known is an important skillset to have (like it or not!). My daughter has improved in terms of answers correct, but also in her outlook about math--and her confidence that she can improve her already strong score. The test is next Tuesday and I feel that with Flora's help, she is well prepared. Definitely worth the investment.

Helpful SAT Math Tutor
Flora provided SAT Math tutoring for my child, and we were happy to have found her support. My child stated that the sessions were helpful and it got her ready for the upcoming SATs. Flora provided thorough explanation on how to solve the problems and provided test taking tips. She also gave us update/summaries of her progress after each session. She was easy to talk to and flexible. We would use her again, if needed!

Great teaching skills
Flora helped my daughter with ACT math. After she had already had tutoring from 2 other tutoring places and was not satisfied, we were lucky to find Flora. we just had a few weeks left, but Flora helped tremendously with the preparation. Flora is a very knowledgable and patient teacher.

Ms Bell is amazing!
Ms Bell is a very experienced math teacher. She worked with my daughter and guided her along with several other students through an advaced math program with great results that allowed her to test out of her freshman and sophmore year of math. She is now working with my son on a similar program. I have the highest confidence in her abilities and both my children really enjoy learning from her. Ms Bell is very engaging and does a great job communicating her objectives to both students and parents. It's been a great experience!
