Hi All!
My name is Aliya and I am an undergraduate studying Forensic Anthropology and Spanish. I have been a tutor for about 7 years now, throughout high school and now in college. I have extensive experience tutoring in elementary and middle school math and Spanish; high school English, literature, and history; and college-level anthropology, anatomy, and English. I am employed at the college as a TA and tutor in Anthropology and have been a TA/tutor in past Anthropology and Anatomy classes.

I am highly dedicated to my education and the education of others. I began tutoring in high school as a peer mentor, meaning during off periods I would be available to help my fellow students in certain subjects. I have always had a desire to help others in whatever ways I can, part of the reason I decided to study Forensic Anthropology. Tutoring in high school, I realized pretty quickly that I loved helping others in an area that I, myself, was so passionate about. I have always loved learning, and reading is a favorite activity of mine! I continue to hope that through tutoring and my own education, I get to help others love learning as much as I do. I believe that it is our duty to spread what knowledge we have and that everyone has the basic human right to an education.

I received straight A's in all of my math classes and received a high score on my Calculus AP exam. I have tutored math throughout high school and into college.

I received A's in all of my anthropology classes and Anatomy class and have been a TA (teacher's assistant) in multiple anthropology courses and an anatomy course.

I have tutored English throughout high school and into college, particularly in writing and editing essays.
