As a PhD student in economics at Colorado State University, I have developed expertise in macroeconomics, international trade, labor markets, and public finance. My research focuses on how fiscal policy transmits through production networks and how state policy can direct structural change in an economy, questions that sit at the intersection of macroeconomic theory and real-world policy design.
For the past several years I have served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and, most recently, as the instructor of record for Intermediate Macroeconomics, an experience that has sharpened my ability to break down complex economic models and connect them to the markets and social issues students actually care about.
My tutoring style is guidance-oriented rather than lecture-based. Rather than simply providing answers, I ask questions that help students identify what they already know and how to apply it, building intuition alongside technical skill. Whether you're working through supply and demand, monetary policy, or open-economy macro, my goal is to help you develop a framework for thinking, not just a solution to a single problem.
