Hey, my name is Sean! I have undergraduate degrees from the University of South Dakota and the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in psychology, and a minor in math, and economics, respectively. This fall I will begin my PhD in Economics at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. I am interested in behavioral approaches to environmental economics, the implications of a green transition for inequality and growth, and the psychology of social classes.

While a student at the University of South Dakota I was a tutor for about 3 years and tutored Algebra 1, Algebra 2, statistics for psychology, and occasionally calculus. As a tutor, I like to personally get to know my students to make the tutoring experience more impactful and enjoyable for both of us.
I have a minor in math from the University of South Dakota and tutored Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and calculus for roughly 3 years. My background in economics is heavily grounded in mathematics, so I have been continuously refining my qualifications over the last few years.
I received my BS in psychology from the University of South Dakota in 2019. I also did research in Human Factors under XT Wang attempting to identify how a changing metabolic rate impacts decision-making and risk-taking. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA in my psychology major.
I received my BS in economics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2021. I graduated with a 3.72 GPA in my economics major. I will also begin my PhD in economics at Colorado State University in Fall 2021.
As of June, my schedule is very flexible and I am taking on new students!
