I’m a certified special education teacher trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach, offering reading tutoring for students in grades 2 thru 6.

I specialize in supporting struggling readers and students with dyslexia or reading disabilities using structured, explicit, and evidence-based literacy instruction that builds both skills and confidence.

I am certified as a Special Education Generalist in the state of Colorado. I have taught students with dyslexia in the classroom and as a tutor for last 7 years. I provide explicit, multisensory, structured and prescriptive to support students with dyslexia, I am certified at the Associates Level by a fellow from the Orton Gillingham Academy. My training included a 100 hour practicum. I have also taken 5 graduate level courses in Structured Literacy including LETRS.

I have passed the Elementary Praxis test last summer. I have taught K-5 grade students. I have worked as a K-2 grade classroom teacher and a K-5 Special Education Resource teacher. I have 19 years of teaching experience.
