I am an attorney who attended Columbia Law School and am admitted to practice in both New York and Colorado. I have practiced at both large international firms and in-house.
As a tutor, I work with students to help them succeed both in the classroom and the college admission/law school application process. Every student has different needs, so I personalize a plan specifically tailored to each student's strengths and weakness. In order to succeed at anything, whether it be a complex contract law course or the rigorous law school application process a student needs to have the correct organizational plan in place.
Once we have a plan in place, we can then focus on the substance of the subject. I have found that this gives the student confidence to succeed and teaches transferable skills that can be used later on in a workplace environment.
I was successfully admitted to almost all of the T-10 law schools, ultimately choosing to attend Columbia Law School, where I graduated as Stone Scholar. I passed the New York Bar exam and have experience working at both a large law firm and as in-house counsel.
I double majored at the University of Michigan in History and Political Science. I also received a 5 on the AP US History and AP US Government Exams.
I believe the most important aspect of test prep and admissions applications is the process. Students often become overwhelmed by the volume of materials or forms. I will work with you to set out realistic timetables to achieve your goals.
