I love to help students find the same joy in piano and reading that I have enjoyed all my life. I believe piano to be a wonderful addition to education and wholeness, whether or not an individual wishes to become a professional. I teach all ages and levels, and customize lessons to meet the particular needs and desires of my students. Reading is the key to nearly all academic endeavors and acceptances to schools and programs, as well as a great tool to personal accomplishment and pleasure.

I am a natural at teaching, and have gone through the process myself. I scored over 700 in each section of the GRE on my first try, and I have sifted through the available preparation materials. I have found the workbooks and online sources, as well as in person activities which I find to be most helpful in achieving high scores.

I have tutored many people in reading, and find college prep to be the most satisfying. The stakes can feel very high, and I think it's important to combine an engaging, caring teaching style with the best materials available.

I have studied piano since the age of 5, and have learned a great deal from working with the finest teachers available. I achieved an M.M. in piano performance, and continued course work at the Juilliard School. I believe my performance abilities combined with my many years teaching experience, help me to be a flexible, multi-faceted, patient and effective teacher.

I would be happy to work with you in designing a schedule and program that will be highly effective in helping you to reach your personal goals. I have taught people at every skill level, and my students have been extremely happy with my teaching style, my caring nature, and my knowledge.
