I am professional, highly reliable and very experienced. Teaching gives me great personal satisfaction, especially when I see my students enjoying their personal development through the improvements they make. Our daughter is in her third year of studying the French language. Nick helped our daughter understand concepts of the French language that she has struggled with for over two years. Quiz scores improved from 70s to 90s.
My first tutoring session with Nick definitely exceeded my expectations. He works at a comfortable pace and explains the language in a way that makes perfect sense. I can't wait for my next lesson!
Nick is refreshing my almost forgotten Italian. Very relaxed session. Nick never made me feel awkward or embarrassed for not knowing a translation. Easily slid grammar explanations into the lesson without it being dull. Looking forward to my next lesson.
Nick did a great job of figuring out the best "jumping off" point to begin my language lesson. I was quite nervous, self-conscious, etc., and he put me at ease right away.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
