Bio

I am originally from the UK and have been working for a few years now in the English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) field. I have both taught English and worked as a director of a language program with my main focus and expertise being with foreign professionals who need to improve their English for career purposes. I also have expertise in French and Italian and have lived in both France and Italy (twice). I have taught both languages at a variety of levels including undergraduate students.

I have worked both inside and outside the classroom as a director of a program with such professionals to try and meet their goals. I am TEFL trained and have also attended CELTA workshops.

I have a BA in French and Italian from a British university. I lived in France as a student and have visited several times. I have taught French at a variety of levels and places including schools and university students.

BA degree in Italian and French from the University College of North Wales, UK. Lived in Italy twice, once as a student and then later working there for a year. Frequent visitor to Italy, family have a house in central Italy. Have taught Italian at various levels, including undergraduates at DU.

Significant experience teaching TOEFL to overseas professionals living in the Denver area. Lots of experience too teaching professionals general English both privately and in small groups.
