Hello, everyone! I just opened my profile again for the first time in several years, so please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. My name is David. In addition to my hours on Wyzant, I have 2+ years experience working in and out of schools as a Paraprofessional Teacher and Tutor in reading, writing, math, music, and business for Elementary and Middle School students and adults. I acquired my Associate of Arts in Business from Arapahoe Community College in 2013 with a 3.7 GPA, and I am currently enrolled at Arizona State University Online as an Economics major also pursing a certificate of Applied Business Data Analytics. I have spent the last 5 years working at the City and County of Denver in Human Services.

Math is my first love, and numbers have always come naturally to me. I enjoyed teaching myself Trigonometry, Calculus, Accounting, and Economics in an online classroom (and earning As in all of the above). I would love to help share the experience that math can be fun rather than frustrating.

My goal in the first couple lessons is to become acquainted with each other's learning and communication styles. I appreciate diverse ways of thinking between individuals, and no two lessons are ever alike.

When we sit down for tutoring, I hope that you are able to share what you have learned recently and what you might be confused about. Sometimes, nothing makes sense though, and I can help you work through any confusion or frustration by either combing through an assignment one problem at a time or by revisiting the lesson from a different approach.
