I am currently a PhD student in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at the Colorado School of Mines, where I also earned a master’s degree in Data Science and Energy Economics. Before that, I completed my undergraduate degree at Colorado State University in Economics with a minor in Mathematics.
I have loved mathematics from an early age because of its depth, logic, and creativity. As a student, I was several grade levels ahead in math, and I began tutoring others in middle school because I enjoyed helping students understand concepts that once seemed difficult or out of reach. I continued tutoring mathematics and physics through college, and those experiences confirmed how rewarding it is to help students gain both skill and confidence.
My tutoring experience includes middle school mathematics, Algebra I and II, Precalculus, College Algebra, Calculus I–III, Differential Equations, and SAT Math. I believe strong tutoring goes beyond showing students how to complete a specific problem. My goal is to help students develop a genuine understanding of the material, so they can think critically, solve new types of problems, and succeed independently. I would be thrilled to share my passion for mathematics and support students in reaching their fullest potential!
