I am a certified Spanish teacher with a strong academic and professional background in language education. I hold a Master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from the Universidad de Navarra in Spain, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Education. I currently teach Spanish full time at a public high school in Denver, CO, USA.
I have been teaching for several years in a classroom setting, working with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. My experience includes Spanish for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels, Spanish for Heritage Speakers, and AP Spanish Language and Culture. I regularly work with teenagers in grades 9–12, but I also provide one-on-one support for students who need extra help, test preparation, or personalized practice outside of class. My teaching focuses on building confidence, improving fluency, and strengthening reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
In addition to my classroom experience, I provide individualized tutoring both in person and online. I adapt my lessons to each student’s goals, whether they are preparing for the AP exam, maintaining and strengthening their heritage Spanish, improving academic performance, or developing conversational skills. My approach is structured but supportive, with clear feedback and practical strategies that help students make steady and measurable progress.
