Bio

I'm Will! I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology, with 5x Dean's list designation. I will be completing a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership in 2026. While I have over 2 years of experience with K-12 tutoring, my first job as a University admissions rep has also given me a wealth of expertise in the college prep, search, and application process.

While I have over 2 years of experience with K-12 tutoring, my first job as a University admissions rep has also given me a wealth of expertise in the college prep, search, and application process.

One thing I've learned from my own education is that a great teacher can make a world of difference. It's ultimately up to the student to engage with the material openly, but the best thing an educator (or tutor) can do is to facilitate this engagement, by re-framing subjects in a way that feels more intuitive and understandable. My adaptable, patient approach is great for this, and my contagious enthusiasm is a big help for students who struggle with motivation.

In my free time, I am a chess fanatic, and would love the opportunity to teach Chess to any emerging young enthusiasts. As an adult with ADHD, I also understand these challenges deeply and am great with kids who have attention and executive functioning issues.

Elementary (K-6th)

Tutored students from K-12 for 2 years across all subjects. Some students would come to me for all of their classes, even including Spanish. Working with elementary school students is my favorite, and my enthusiasm and patience are very helpful with them.

Received an A in "Logic and Scientific Reasoning," an upper-division college course on logic. Passion for the logical structure of language, identifying fallacies, and forming cohesive, sound thoughts. Relates to my deep love of chess.
