Teaching has always been my passion, however, I find classroom management challenging; dividing one's attention between multiple students, as is required in a classroom setting, is not something I ever really got the hang of. I love working as a tutor because it allows me to provide baroque education to each individual student.
Outside of mathematics, I've also worked as a writing tutor, Hebrew school tutor, tumbling coach, and diving coach. I'm a firm believer that teachers should be trained cross-disciplinarily, as it gets us to think outside of the box when a student is stuck on a given concept. The more tools you have in your tool kit the better.
