Hello, my name is Ellie! I received my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Regis University in 2015 and my Master's degree in Social Innovation from the University of San Diego in 2020. I provide targeted, quality online English lessons to children and adults alike. My primary goal is to help students achieve their goals and gain confidence in their skills. I have worked with Somalian youth and adult refugees through the ESL Program at Regis University. Also, I have worked with Italian high school students in Bologna, Italy through Spring Hill College. I have a flexible schedule and will be as accommodating as possible for my students.

I have a passion for working with students to improve their English speaking, writing and reading skills. I have worked with youth and adult refugees through the ESL Program at Regis University. Also, I have worked with high school students in Bologna, Italy through Spring Hill College.

Grammar

Being both an undergraduate and graduate student, I have spent a lot of time helping students with grammar when they completing homework or essays. I aim to provide context for students, teach grammar rules and help students understand the importance of grammar.

Reading

From middle school throughout graduate school, I have spent a lot of time reading. The students I've worked with in the past have told me they feel more comfortable and supported due to my guidance. The students I've worked with have enjoyed reading after I have worked with them, more than they thought they would.
Vocabulary

Vocabulary

During my graduate program, I honed in on my vocabulary skills and focused on learning new words in the field of Social Innovation that I got my degree in. This helped me have better diction when writing essays and taking tests.

I studied Business Administration with a specialization in Management at Regis University. I took classes such as Business 101, Principles of Accounting, General Business, Project Management, Finance and more! I also studied Social Innovation at the University of San Diego. This degree was partly focused on social impact, but also specialized in business and we were required to take a few business classes, such as Accounting, Business & Social Innovation and more.
