Graduated High School in Quito, Ecuador in 2010 and decided to move to the USA for college. Went to Denison University in Granville, OH and graduated with a Bachelor in Biology and a minor in Cello Performance in 2014. Moved to Denver, CO after graduation and became an ELA-S Science Teacher (Science for Spanish Speakers) at a High School from 2015 to 2023. During my time there my position fluctuated between Science teaching, Resource Teaching for Math, and being the department lead for the ELA-S program. I have helped ELA-S teachers, students, and parents throughout my career particularly in the subject of Science and Math.
Currently I run a STEM after school program for Middle Schoolers and substitute teach for Denver Public Schools. I have vast experience teaching students from 11-18 years old within the classroom setting, small group setting, and one-on-one. I've tutored one-on-one in Cello lessons, Spanish lessons, Science lessons, and Math lessons. One-on-one is the best way to find misconceptions and work on specific academic goals to be achieved.
