Great first session
Great first session. Katharine homed right in on the right skill level to sign with me. We chatted a bit then she moved right into some prepared lessons... which was a good way to find a good starting place for our future sessions... this gave her a sense my signing and comprehension level. And while I have a very good feeling about how we will be getting on ASL-wise, equally important to me... she smiled a lot. Our sessions will not only be 'beneficial', they will also be fun.

Katharine was amazing! I was timid at first but she had a way of making me feel secure with my signs and suggested different solution to better understand my assignment. I did request another tutor session to help me with other assignments and learn more about communication. I highly recommend her.
