I've taught introductory college writing classes, all levels of high school French, from level 1 through AP Language, and regular level and honors English classes; I taught AP English Lit for over 20 years and was a reader for the AP English Literature exam.
As a tutor, I work to find what will best help my students learn, improve, and reach their goals. As a French tutor, I've helped students master grammar concepts, practice speaking, and gain confidence in their ability to succeed in class. As an English lit/writing tutor, I have worked with students on literary analysis, grammar, writing skills, and test prep. I love to work with students on their college application essays; my focus is on drawing out my students' interests and personality to create essays that show them in their best light.
