I'm a former high school math teacher. Since I departed teaching I have worked as a private tutor where I have worked with students from the elementary grade levels all the way to students in college. I also have experience tutoring many students who identify as autistic/neuro-divergent. I have worked mainly as a math focused tutor, but in some capacities have worked with almost all other subjects. Some of my former students were able to get college credit on AP exams other than math related subjects(Government/Geography). I'm a very well rounded teacher with a lot of classroom and private teaching familiarity.

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in History. After college worked in public school as an auxiliary math teacher. Most jobs were in the high school, while some covered elementary and middle school classes. I also worked in the SPED Dept. / Alternative Schools. While teaching I was also the high school debate coach. After school hours I worked as a private math tutor to middle school to college students. Some were college aged some were adults returning to higher education needing help through math classes. I then moved to Denver, CO right before COVID and worked as a POD teacher for two families. 2 Autistic kids and their siblings for two 7th graders & 2 Juniors in High School. I worked with the families for 2 years through social distancing as a private tutor covering HW help for all. One of the autistic boys I worked with was able to get two 4s on his AP exams while also excelling in his school classes.

I also am very used to working online lessons as I have ran my own tutoring business for many years now independently. I still currently teach students online that after years of them being a student they moved to another state, but still meet online for weekly lessons.
