Tutoring is in my blood and I have a Master's Degree in Teaching. I have over 20 years experience either as a photographer or a professor and I have given workshops over the past ten years in Photography, Lightroom Post Production, Visualization skills, Fine Art, Darkroom skills, Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Image Making as well as Learning how to make a career in Wedding Photography. I also taught Photo-Journalism at Catholic University in Brazil with classes approaching 40 students and I have experience teaching privately as well. Besides photo-journalism, I also taught how to develop film and prints in the darkroom! I won several awards for my fine art and wedding photography while living abroad. My students tend to be college age students and older adults who are serious about learning a new hobby OR want to take up photography as a career. The reason why I feel that Wedding Photography is a great tutoring title is because I can literally teach someone a new career path right away and they can take this experience and go and make a life out of it. It's enriching to know that the photos they will document for a bride and groom will live on forever and be passed down to their children and their grandchildren as valuable heirlooms of a family. The images they will learn to make with me will truly have a positive impact on the lives of others!
