One tutoring experience that stuck with me was when I had the opportunity to tutor a family friend in Calc 1 at The University of Denver. The student and I became quite close personally, and the student grew academically throughout the semester. A few years later, I heard from my Father that the student told my dad that, "he would not have gotten through freshman year without Jack". That statement has stuck with me and warmed my heart.
