My name is Austin, and acting has been at the center of my life and education for the past ten years. I trained for seven years at Denver School of the Arts, where I majored in theater and built a strong foundation in performance, character development, and storytelling. I am currently continuing my studies at Regis University with a focus in marketing and theater education, allowing me to merge artistic technique with effective teaching practices. With more than seventy productions behind me and mentorship from respected industry professionals, I bring both practical experience and deep passion to every session I teach.
Throughout my career, I have taught acting, musical theater, and film acting to students of all ages in both group classes and one-on-one coaching. I have worked with the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities and currently serve as a theater educator at 5280 Theater Company, where I teach everything from acting fundamentals to advanced character work, movement, voice acting, and on-camera performance. My background includes voice acting, musical theater, dance, and monologue coaching, and I draw from popular acting methods such as Meisner, Stanislavski, Uta Hagen, Viewpoints, Practical Aesthetics, and the Michael Chekhov technique. I also completed a marketing internship with Warner Brothers in California, giving me valuable insight into the professional world of film and entertainment.
As a tutor, my approach is warm, supportive, and focused on helping each student reach their full potential. I always begin by asking what they want from acting, whether it’s confidence, audition prep, technique, or a deeper understanding of the craft. Even if you take just one class with me, my goal is that you walk away with more knowledge, stronger skills, and a clearer artistic voice. While I’m based in Denver, I work with students both in person and online from across the country. I’m excited to help you take your acting technique and artistic growth to the next level.
