Terrific tutor for algebra

Lee has been tutoring my daughter in Algebra I on a weekly basis for the past three months. We are so happy that we found Lee! Our daughter hit the point in math, particularly after nearly a year of online learning, where she needed some guidance on some key concepts, needed a little extra time on some of her work, and also needed the emotional boost of feeling that she can "get" math and feel some praise for getting it---maybe a boost of math confidence. Lee has been a perfect fit in working with our daughter. He comes prepared for each session, clearly understanding the curriculum and anticipating hurdles that our daughter might have as she starts a new topic. He has done a mix of review and preview. Our daughter loves the previewing of new topics, as she can go into a class feeling like she already understands the math. The best part for us as parents is that our daughter looks forward to Monday night tutoring. She likes working with Lee, who has a very upbeat, positive, warm, calm manner. And our daughter keeps telling us he makes math fun. What has been most impressive is that Lee is an extremely effective tutor even when our daughter works with him entirely remotely---two time zones away. We very much hope to continue to work with Lee---even after the pandemic is over.
