For the last 7 years I have been working in environments centered around and in development of people. This includes some tutoring (elementary math to SAT prep and reading comprehension), working on challenge courses, and most recently as a Director of a traveling summer camp team.
During this time I have seen a passion for meeting people where they are and helping them achieve their goals develop in me. I am a firm advocate for being a life time learner, tutoring lets me do that. Trough my experience I have also noticed that most of the time, people just need to be believed in. That is what you will get with me, a variety of diverse experience, a passion to help you achieve your goals, and a deeply rooted belief in you, that you can and will achieve what has been set before you.
I have experience tutoring math, several undergraduate level math courses completed, creative ways of explaining math concepts.
I have done work in ethics, independent study on morals, some logic, and am a big why question asker.
I have been on staff with the Navigators for 7 years and am currently pursing ordination in the Anglican Church. I study the bible daily. I have written bible studies and lead over 10 inductive bible studies over the last 3-4 years.
