Hi, I would LOVE the opportunity to work with your child! I am passionate about education and the importance of children developing a life long love of learning and the ability to learn independently. I recently retired from a 30 year teaching career in the Pike's Peak Region. I taught mostly primary students, but have experience through 6th grade. Most of those years were spent in the classroom where I was responsible for teaching all the core curriculum. I have also spent many hours on the other side of the desk as a student refining my craft across the curriculum and learning strategies to improve the learning of individual students.

You will find me extremely reliable and dedicated. I will work hard to get to know your child as an individual and as a learner and am more than willing to modify my strategies to better meet their needs. I will use methods that make learning fun and engaging while having high expectations. I will share my own learning experiences and interests with your child. I look forward to sharing my passion with your child and learning from them.

Knowledgable and pleasant

Beth did a great job at assessing my son's reading strengths and weaknesses. She now has a game plan to work with. My son enjoys her pleasant and patient demeanor.

Such an amazing Tutor

My son is struggling with reading, and getting him to read anything is a chore. He is always smiling and laughing after his tutoring sessions. He has been showing more interest in reading, and I couldn't be more appreciative.

Fantastic

We are so happy to be working with Beth to help our child with reading skills. She works beautifully with our child. She has a lesson plan that is perfectly tailored for our child. We are thrilled to be working with her and consider ourselves very lucky. We have been working with Beth for over a year and my daughter has moved up several grade levels in reading in that time. More importantly, my daughter loves working with Beth and tells me how much she can’t wait to see Beth again. Beth continues to knock it put of the park session after session!

Excellent, patient tutor

Beth started with our son in July 2020. He had just been diagnosed with dyslexia and ADD and struggled through 2nd grade, well behind his peers in reading, writing and spelling. After a few months with Beth, he began to improve by leaps and bounds...he started to seek out reading and tackle the big words without being self-concious. He is now on-level for his third grade reading/writing and greatly improved but still behind in spelling. He is now "graduated" to a specialist/tutor at his new school. but we attribute his biggest gains to Beth and her patient approach. She has our strongest recommendation - best money we've spent on our child's education, especially during the COVID era!

Wonderful 10x

Beth is engaging, patient, and thoughtful with my 5 year old son. He's asking for more time with Beth and looks forward to the sessions. She challenges him in a variety of ways, tailored to his needs, and even has gotten him to learn how to use the computer. We are grateful. Go Beth!

Ms. Beth To The Rescue

When we were feeling hopeless and wildly unprepared, Ms. Beth saved us from homeschool hell with my 5 year old. She is patient and well prepared. We have been consistent and we are seeing huge results. Ms. Beth has made home schooling much more manageable.

Exceptional educator with rich experience and ability to bring content to life

Beth has been tutoring my 7 year old (1st grade) son in reading, three days a week ever since the COVIID-19 pandemic forced a virtual learning model. Beth is simply incredible as she was able to both build a rapport with my child by the end of the first lesson and build a stable curriculum that has my child reading better than ever. Beth's mastery of working with children and fun structured learning has caused our m/w/f reading lessons to be the highlight of my child's day. Additionally her willingness to communicate with my wife and I to provide guidance on what areas we should focus on at home to improve proficiency and comprehension is incredibly helpful. Beth is helping us make the most of this school shutdown and ensure our child is ready for the next grade....Priceless Thanks you Beth
