I am a motivated, resourceful, and personable educator with multiple college degrees, and am highly experienced in Education. I am flexible with job assignments. I have developed educational leadership training programs and curriculum. I am comfortable working with students, parents, and educators from all backgrounds and learning styles. I am also poised and competent, with demonstrated ability to easily transcend cultural differences. Through academic support and mentorship I develop the academic and personal strength of students by use of inquiry. I assist students in the writing process by communicating a variety of strategies. Through curriculum and instruction, I evaluate and assess students' competences. I also develop standard based lesson plans in content areas of Social Studies and English for grades 6-12. I provide guided instruction for a variety of learning styles. In addition, I analyze P-12 curriculum and data. I maintain current professional knowledge of child/youth development theories, services, and philosophies. Most importantly, I establish a rapport with students through positive interaction.
