With 15 years of experience as a classroom teacher and 5 years experience as a middle school reading specialist I’ve been able to help struggling readers not only improve their reading skills but gain self-esteem and confidence in the process. To round out my training I became a certified SLANT instructor. Kind, knowledgeable, excellent tutor

Pattie has taken the time to get to know Dalton and his needs. His reading and writing has improved so much and he loves working with her. She makes his sessions fun and he loves bringing home the books she lets him borrow to practice his reading at home. She is EXCELLENT and we could not be happier.

invaluable resource

Patty P. is very professional and competent yet relates easily to my 14 year old son. Her years of experience working with children at different levels and abilities is quite apparent. Patty's teaching style and use of the SLANT program is the key to my child's success. We have seen improvement in just three short weeks. My son looks forward to his sessions. Knowing that he is comfortable working with her is amazing. We highly recommend Patty P..
