I have been a mathematics teacher for 11 years. I taught Algebra II for 5 years while working in a private school in Utah. I have an excellent understanding of polynomial, rational, and radical functions. I also have a firm grasp on matrices, linear systems of equations and synthetic division.

Cooking is a passion for me. I first began cooking when I was 16 at a pizza restaurant. From there I began cooking at a brew pub where I learned the majority of real cooking skils. In all I have 20+ years experience in the restaurant industry. I have experience butchering meats, poultry, and fish. I also have baking and pastry experience. I can teach you knife skills and some of the finer skills of cooking. I would love to help you make excellent meals and food for your family and friends.

Geometry was the class in high school that made me realize that I wanted to be a mathematician. This is my favorite class to teach in high school (followed closely by algebra II and calculus). I have a firm grasp on the theorems, postulates and how to use them to write two-column proofs. I am also well versed in integrating algebra concepts into the realm of geometry.

Mathematica

I have a BS in applied mathematics and have extensive experience in using Mathematica. I took courses that taught me how to use it and more classes that required the use of Mathematica. I understand the syntax and can help you understand how to use it to achieve your goals.

Awesome Tutor!!

Dale is an awesome tutor! He was able to help my son go from a feeling of total desperation to 100% confidence!! He did this in just just 8 sessions. Dale is very easy going and makes my son feel comfortable to where he knows that he can ask any question. The first two weeks went so well that we are going to continue to use Dale through the remainder of the school year. I only wish that we would have found him sooner!

Wonderful Tutor

We used Dale to help our nephew Kevin get through his final math class of his senior year. We had been concerned that by not passing the course he would not graduate. Dale worked with him diligently and Kevin passed the course and graduated. Overall Dale was very understanding and motivating for our nephew. We truly appreciate his efforts. He went out of his way to be flexible to our schedule, and we know that without his efforts Kevin would not have passed the class.
