I have Bachelor and Master Degrees from Colorado College.
I've been a classroom teacher or schoolwide tutor for 30+ years.
I've taught or tutored in D11, D20, D49, D12, and D2 at the middle school, high school, charter school, alternative school, and college levels.
I've taught or tutored in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.

I love working with students one-on-one or with a small group.
I have many Excel "Instant Worksheet Makers" so that students can practice many problems.
Often, I teach by reviewing previous skills to work up to the skills required in class.
I do this to support student learning by helping students understand where the math came from, instead of telling them steps. Once the students understand the process, we can work on step-by-step instructions.

As a student in middle school and high school, I was told that I wasn't good at math.
Later, I had a great teacher who taught me how math works and try to do the same for other students.
