With a strong passion for education and empowering students, I bring a well-rounded academic background and years of tutoring experience to help learners thrive. I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Colorado Mesa University and earned my Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.

Over the years, I have tutored students of various ages and academic levels, from first graders to college students. My tutoring journey began in college, where I volunteered as a peer tutor, assisting fellow students in subjects ranging from English and math to criminal justice and constitutional law. During law school, I continued to offer academic support, using methods that catered to different learning styles and focused on building strong foundational knowledge and confidence.

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, emphasizing engagement and adaptability. I tailor my methods to the individual needs of each student, incorporating hands-on practice, interactive discussions, and clear explanations to break down complex concepts. Whether in a one-on-one setting, a classroom environment, or as a mentor in my current role at the Colorado State Public Defender's office, I am committed to helping students achieve academic success and gain a deeper understanding of the material.
