Carol’s BA is in Psychology, she has a Masters in Special Education, with endorsements in severe cognitive and behavioral needs, and is in the process of earning her PhD in Developmental Psychology.

Her career has included teaching at risk youth at a residential treatment center, kids with emotional and behavioral disorders for kids from K-5th grade, and individualized support and intervention for kids and adults in a private setting. She started an agency called A Cognitive Connection to help provide support to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities to improve their quality of life.
Carol created A Cognitive Connection because she believes that learning individualized ways to help those with disabilities is a crucial part to ensuring that those individuals live a fulfilling and rewarding life.
