My name is Evangelyne E! I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, minors in Political Science and Sociology, and a Certificate in Care, Health, and Resilience. I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Social Work after which I plan to pursue either Law School or my PhD in Psychology. Helping students break down words into their smaller parts, and providing them with tools and tricks to make reading easier is something that brings me profound excitement and joy.
My method for 1:1 instruction begins with evaluating what stage in reading development a person is in. After determining the areas of growth, we will structure our lessons around specific skills and go over fluency drills, lessons, and practice. Depending on the goals of each person, I may assign practice for outside of the lesson setting. I track growth using progress monitoring and continuously reassess to determine when we have moved the next stage of reading development.
