I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and am currently one year into a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. I passed the Next Gen NCLEX in Summer 2024 in the minimum 85 questions on my first attempt, and I am passionate about helping nursing students achieve that same level of success and confidence.

I have 3 years of experience tutoring nursing students at all levels, from foundational courses such as Pathophysiology and Health Assessment to fast-paced, high-pressure subjects including Pharmacology, Nursing Synthesis, Med Surg, and NCLEX preparation. My teaching style focuses on concept mastery, clinical reasoning, and understanding why an answer is correct. These skills are essential for SATA and Next Gen NCLEX style questions.

I use a wide range of study tools, frameworks, and test-taking strategies that I continue to develop and refine with my current students. My goal is not just to help students pass exams, but to help them retain information long-term, think critically, and feel confident applying knowledge in clinical practice.

During my undergraduate nursing education, I was elected as the Undergraduate Curriculum Representative in student government and selected as my university’s Undergraduate Student Delegate to national nursing conventions, including the AACN National Nursing Student Policy Summit in Washington, D.C. and the National Student Nurses Association National Convention, where I advocated for nursing education, leadership, and healthcare policy.

In addition to tutoring, I currently work as a psychiatric nurse with over 2,000 hours of hands-on nursing experience, allowing me to connect academic concepts directly to real-world clinical scenarios.
