Hello! I am excited to support you in building confidence and clarity across statistics, epidemiology, academic writing, and Spanish.

I am a PhD-trained biomedical scientist and public health data professional with over 15 years of experience applying quantitative methods in research and real-world decision-making. I hold a PhD in Biomedical Sciences and an MPH in Biostatistics, and I currently manage a statewide health surveillance program working with large-scale healthcare data. These are not just subjects I teach, they are skills I use every day.

I support students at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels:

Statistics & Biostatistics
AP Statistics, college-level statistics, probability, hypothesis testing, regression, and data interpretation.

Epidemiology & Public Health
Study design, bias and confounding, and interpretation of research articles.

Thesis & Academic Writing
Organization, structure, and strengthening methods, results, and discussion sections.

Spanish (Native Speaker)
Beginner to intermediate Spanish with a focus on conversation and pronunciation.

My teaching style is structured, clear, and concept driven. I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind concepts so they can apply them independently. I also enjoy working with students on longer-term projects and building skills that extend beyond a single assignment.
