If you want to get really intimate with R, it's base packages, tidyverse and much more, book out your calendar with Spencer, pick out a nice place to save notes. Yes, Spencer is that good!

OMG BEST TUTOR EVER
We has SUCH a helpful and fun our session. I had been trying to figure out how to fix a small error in my R code for DAYS and Spencer was able to make multiple suggestions on how I could improve it. We even spent extra time making sure I understood everything and reviewing work I did previously. Spencer was the best "rubber duck" and let me explain my work out loud to ensure that I was able to confidently communicate everything we learned. Thank you SO much!

Spencer Z. is an amazing communicator she really knows how to change her way of teaching in order for you to understand. Also she is great at making sure you know it’s ok to not understand something and she will then spend the time needed for you to understand.

Spencer helped my daughter in environmental science. She is very approachable and a strong communicator and my daughter felt comfortable right away. She asked the right questions to understand my daughter’s needs and figure out the best way to help her. She downloaded an image onto the whiteboard so she had some visuals to assist her explanation.

Spencer worked with my daughter on preparing for her AP Environmental Science final. The feed back from my daughter was that she wished Spencer was her teacher, as she really clarified concepts in a way her teacher never had, and seemed extremely intelligent. We will use her again!

Spencer was one of the best teachers- in any subject, I have ever had. Before we started working together, I was practically failing my class. After Spencer explained the concepts clearly, concisely and in an easy-to-understand way, my grades shot up over 25%. I was genuinely worried about failing the class, but with Spencer's help, I passed with flying colors. Spencer was always prepared with diagrams, photos, and analogies that made concepts easy to understand especially for someone without a background in geology. I found myself remembering the concepts without even trying because I would remember her tricks. She gives you her full attention and always takes time to explain concepts in depth to make sure you understand, but without confusing you with unnecessary details. Spencer has such a gift for teaching. I never write reviews, but I wanted to make sure that Spencer gets the true credit she deserves for being a rockstar teacher! Work with her, you won't regret it!

I was looking for a geology tutor for my son. My plan was for 5 sessions, but amazingly she covered everything within two hours. He understood the subject very well with clarity. She knows the subject in depth with a gift of how to explain. I highly recommend her for Geology tutoring.

Thorough and dedicated to make sure you understand the material
If you are looking for someone who is motivated and who is ready to give 100% of her attention, she is the tutor for you! She prepared in advance for the class and had everything ready to go over with me. Every time I had a question, she would stop, and take the time to answer me, then she made sure I understood what she had just explained. I felt comfortable the entire session. I do not usually write reviews, but I think that she truly deserves to be praised, as her patience and commitment should be rewarded!
