Hi there, I’m Ashlee! A multidisciplinary educator and learning designer with more than a decade of experience supporting learners from early childhood through high school. I hold a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Georgia State University and certifications in Yoshimoto Orton-Gillingham literacy intervention, trauma-sensitive teaching, and somatic and mindfulness-based practices. My background includes classroom teaching, one-on-one tutoring, small-group instruction, and personalized learning design across independent schools, community programs, and private practice.
I've taught and tutored students ages 3-18 in reading, writing, executive-function skills, and general academic support. My tutoring approach is relational, structured, and highly individualized. I take time to understand each student's strengths, challenges, and learning style, then design sessions that blend evidence-based strategies with compassionate, strengths-focused support. Whether I'm helping a young reader build foundational decoding skills, guiding a middle-schooler through organization and planning, or supporting a high-school student in developing clarity and confidence in their writing, I tailor instruction to meet each learner where they are. I integrate mindfulness, emotional literacy, and clear, step-by-step scaffolding to help students feel grounded and capable. My goal is to create a safe, encouraging environment where growth feels possible, learning feels meaningful, and students develop the confidence and resilience to take ownership of their progress.

Fitness

Fitness

I bring a holistic approach to fitness that integrates strength training with mindful movement and body awareness. My background in yoga, wellness, and somatic practices allows me to design sessions that support both physical conditioning and nervous‑system balance. I help clients build functional strength, mobility, and confidence through practices that honor the whole person rather than focusing on exercise alone. My coaching style is supportive, trauma‑sensitive, and grounded in helping individuals feel strong, centered, and connected in their bodies.
Yoga

Yoga

I have extensive experience teaching yoga to children and adolescents, blending developmentally attuned movement with mindfulness and nervous‑system awareness. My background as an educator allows me to design sessions that support emotional regulation, body awareness, and confidence in young learners. I’ve led hundreds of private and small‑group classes across Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative traditions, always adapting practices to meet the needs, energy, and abilities of each age group. My approach is gentle, trauma‑sensitive, and rooted in helping young people build resilience, focus, and a positive relationship with their bodies.
