Hii! I’m an honors college student majoring in Sociology with a strong background in IB coursework and writing-intensive subjects. I earned a 6 on my IB English Language & Literature exam and completed IB Anthropology, IB Environmental Systems & Societies, and IB French. I’ve also taken multiple college-level philosophy courses (including honors sections), which strengthened my analytical reading, argument building, and structured writing skills.

I specialize in English (reading comprehension, grammar, essay writing, literary analysis), humanities, IB subjects, and discussion-based courses. In the sciences, I have coursework in Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Psychology, Kinesiology/Sports & Exercise Science, Health Science, and Medical Terminology. While writing is my strongest area, I am very comfortable tutoring life and health sciences, history, and language aswell. I overall love helping students truly understand concepts rather than just memorize them.

My approach is structured, encouraging, and focused on long-term retention. I use simple memory and study strategies that help information stick. As a current student, I understand how overwhelming school can feel, especially with IB or writing-heavy coursework, and I aim to make sessions productive, supportive, and confidence-building. I completed two full years of IB Social and Cultural Anthropology at the Higher Level (HL), where I maintained strong academic performance with semester grades of 94, 90, 90, and 94. I successfully completed rigorous IB assessments including Paper 1 and Paper 2, which require applying anthropological theory and ethnographic case studies to unfamiliar prompts under timed conditions. I earned a 5 on the IB examination, reflecting a strong and above-average understanding of the subject. Overall, I am comfortable helping students prepare for Papers 1 and 2, refine their essay structure, and strengthen their ability to apply concepts effectively in exam settings.

I’ve taken honors, Higher Level (HL), and college-level writing courses, and I’ve consistently scored in the 90s on essays throughout high school and college. I earned a 6 on the IB English Language & Literature HL exam, which is one of the most demanding writing assessments because it requires deep analysis under timed, unseen conditions. In HL, I studied six literary works, analyzed non-literary texts, and completed a 1,200–1,500 word Higher Level Essay, all focused on how language shapes meaning and culture. Writing has always been my strongest area. I help students organize their ideas clearly, build strong thesis statements, and write with confidence — especially under time pressure. My goal isn’t just to “fix” essays, but to help students understand how to think critically and express their ideas effectively.

Played striker/forward for Varsity Girls Soccer with over 10 years of competitive experience at both club and school levels. Earned “Most Improved Player” (2021), “Top Goal Scorer” (2023), and “Players’ Player of the Year,” along with 2nd Team All-State honors and TAAPS Honorable Mention recognition. Also achieved TAAPS 1st Place District in Track and Field, highlighting speed, endurance, and overall athletic versatility. Balanced high-level athletics with rigorous academic commitments while contributing leadership, consistency, and strong team culture on and off the field.
