I've been passionate about math for as long as I can remember. I began taking college-level physics in middle school and went on to graduate summa cum laude (3.965 GPA) from UCLA with a degree in Mathematics of Computation. While at UCLA between undergrad and law school (2002-2009), I also worked as a private one-on-one tutor for students of all ages--particularly elementary school through high school--and I've loved helping others gain confidence and clarity in math ever since.

What sets me apart is how I approach teaching: I don't just help students memorize formulas or follow steps--I help them understand why math works the way it does. Whether you're struggling with algebra, geometry, or precalculus, I'll meet you where you are and help you build both skills and intuition. I believe math becomes easier (and more enjoyable!) when it starts to make sense. I aim to build that sense from the ground up.
I specialize in tutoring:
- Pre-Algebra
- Algebra I and II
- Geometry
- Trigonometry
- Pre-Calculus
Though I took a break from tutoring while working in the tech world, I've always kept one foot in math--I even watch math videos for fun! Now, I'm excited to return to helping students directly and bring not just subject mastery, but patience, clear explanations, and an encouraging presence to every session.
