Knowledgeable Singapore Math Tutor
I was looking specifically a Singapore math tutor for my second grader. It is our first year of being part of a homeschool co-op that does not teach math which makes it the parent’s responsibility to find and teach math. I was feeling a bit frustrated with how our 1st semester progress was going and needed a tutor to help with some problems in our 2a workbook and also help give advice on how I could be an effective math teacher. Michael had great reviews and could work with our time schedule even with the time zone difference. My son and I got on the call with Michael and went through a lesson with him. Michael was encouraging and could pick up on what my son needed to focus on to be successful at his math level. He recommended a program called math reflex and it has already helped tremendously in my son’s math confidence. It gave us both relief and encouragement to continue on our math journey together. Michael was efficient and effective! Would book again!

Basketball Lesson
Michaels showed great talent making the basketball lesson fun and enjoyable. He covered ball handling strategies, confidence in shooting, importance of foot work and passing capabilities. Very organized and motivational.

The first thing my son said after his session with Michael was, "Wow, that was awesome!" Michael immediately connected with my son, and very easily and effectively worked through the material, giving my son a huge sense of confidence in his own math ability. To see my son's love of math return and hear him successfully work through problems that he had previously given up on was amazing. We will definitely continue working him.
