Jerry G.

Retired Professor of Education, Dr. Jerry G. has performed as a musician and vocalist full-time for over 50 years and currently performs around Colorado. Dr. J. has a wide-range of unique experience with a background as a 5th degree master of Taekwondo and 5-time national medalist, acting experience on stage and screen, a private pilot and a member of MENSA. While serving as a tenured professor of instructional technology, he also guided graduate research programs and cognitive psychology in educational computing. He has served on editorial boards, boards of directors and is a widely published author.

Dr. J. has over 50 years of performance in virtually every sort of venue and for every sort of audience. His background and experience is extensive and his work continues today.

Dr. G. is well-read and essentially self-taught in the specific discipline of American History education. He has expanded his undergraduate studies in American History with its inevitable focus on pre-revolutionary war colonies and post-Civil War reconstruction period to include extensive reading of wars, industrial development and post-WWII modern society. This hobby of American History study is important for all young people in America today.

Musical teaching is ideal in his own recording studio with state-of-the-art equipment. Dr. G. had extensive study as an undergraduate in Music Theory at Rowan State University with a focus in classical music theory. The inclusion of music theory, is fundamental and vital for the study of anything and everything in music including drumming and percussion, piano and vocals. Dr. J. has the professional experience and understanding of educational methodology to help any interested student reach their goals.
