Chemistry can feel overwhelming at first, but with the proper guidance, it quickly becomes logical, approachable, and even exciting. I love making chemistry fun and accessible for high school and college students, whether we’re learning online or in person. My lessons are supportive, easy to follow, and always focused on helping you feel confident and capable. I’m friendly and patient, and I enjoy breaking down tricky topics into simple steps, using real-life examples, and tailoring every session to your pace and learning style. My goal is to turn confusion into those “aha!” moments, so you leave each lesson proud of what you’ve learned.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (ACS Certified) from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and I’ve spent the past 8 years tutoring and supporting students ages 14 to 45. I have experience in one-on-one tutoring, classroom settings, and volunteer programs, helping students at every level. I tutor High School Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Introductory Chemistry, General Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry, guiding students through everything from stoichiometry to reaction mechanisms. I know calculations, mechanisms, and exam-style questions can be intimidating, so I focus on making them understandable and building the confidence to tackle them successfully.

My lessons are student-centered, encouraging questions, discussions, and hands-on problem-solving. Whether you need to catch up, stay on track, or prepare for a big quiz or exam, I provide a supportive environment where you can thrive. By the end of each session, you won’t just understand chemistry better—you’ll feel confident approaching problems on your own. Chemistry doesn’t have to be scary—it can be a subject you excel at and even enjoy!

I am a bilingual ASL Tutor and Coach, fluent in both American Sign Language and spoken English, with lived experience as a Deaf person and deep insight into Deaf culture. Because ASL is a natural language of the Deaf community, learning from a Deaf native signer provides more authentic language use, cultural nuance, and real‑world communication skills than instruction from someone who did not grow up with the language. Deaf instructors can share idiomatic expressions, cultural norms, and subtle linguistic details that are often missed by hearing teachers. This immersive and culturally grounded approach helps students develop true fluency and confidence in ASL.
