Are you stressing about a class or preparing for an exam? Hi, I’m Jordan, and I can’t wait to help you learn. I took my MCAT score from a 503 to 522 (131/129/130/132) over a 3-month study period, and I'll do my best to help you engage in systems-level thinking -- that is, studying beyond simple recognition -- to recall and apply complex topics on your MCAT exam (or other basic science course!).

Working with me is hands-on, interactive, engaging, and fun. I’m like your training wheels - we’ll practice together until you can get it right every time (even when the information is presented in unfamiliar ways) without me. I’ll push you, hold you accountable, and cheer you on. I’m attentive, focused, and truly care about my students.

I tutor for the MCAT (CARS, Physics, general study planning), premed advising (school lists, primary and secondary applications, essay revising, mock interviews), and several STEM courses (math: geometry, algebra, calculus; physics: calculus-based, algebra-based, nuclear; inorganic chemistry; biology) from the middle-school level through introductory-college levels.

I am a first-year US MD medical student, and I am nontraditional – I have a degree in engineering, and I’ve worked in algorithm development, medical devices, and radiation safety for the last several years. I graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a BS in Nuclear Engineering. At MIT, I fell in love with undergraduate teaching, from mechatronics to biophysics to nuclear science, and I am so excited to tutor you, too.

ACT English

ACT English

I enjoy making concepts fun, approachable, and real-world relevant; more importantly, I believe in empowering learners to approach new material with confidence and the willingness to keep trying. For the ACT, I tailor English tutoring to not simply the writing-related content the test expects you to cover, but also the strategy needed to tackle the questions in a timely, accurate manner. Together, we'll review passages (both from ACT preparatory materials and from engaging outside resources) to examine the grammar, sentence structure, style, and organization to practice building a bulletproof logic and understanding of the language arts you'll see on the test. I am currently a medical student -- it's basically my full-time job to study, understand, and communicate, and I'm excited to help you learn!

My review for Jordan's tutoring sessions with me for MCAT CARS; Amazing tutor and person!!!!

CARS is something I've been struggling with for a long time. I've never really been good at it, and even advice from my friends who were good at it didn't help. It wasn't until I started tutoring with Jordan that I actually felt like I knew what I was doing going into these passages. The amount of growth I've seen with CARS since I started working with her late in December 2025 has been immense. I feel more confident going into these passages, I actually know what I'm looking for and how to search for it in the passage, and I am easily able to cross out answers faster that are just not applicable to the passage. She will meet you where you're at and help you grow so that you are more comfortable and confident with this section, and she'd do the same for any other topic/section/subject you go to her, whether it's through the MCAT or something non-related. On top of this, she's just a very genuine, empathetic, and compassionate person who actually cares about you as a person and wants to help you succeed. She also has such a positive mindset that has helped me a lot when I am hard on myself, and it really makes a difference. I recommend her to anyone who is struggling not only with this section but with any topic you have. If you give her a chance, it will be worth it, and I'm so happy that I did.

Best MCAT Tutor ever

Had I think about 5 sessions with Jordan. She's absolutely fantastic, can't recommend her enough! We worked on MCAT questions together and she could see in real time my thought patterns. I really struggled with understanding the call of the question and approaching scary passages/data interpretation. She gave me a lot of confidence in trusting my knowledge and not to overthink so hard. Gave me pointers on how to approach these passages and turns out they are not so bad. Jordan is super patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. She is absolutely awesome to work with. Not to mention affordability. I would recommend Jordan 100x over. You have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain, including points. Truly can't thank her enough!

Tutor Review - Jordan

Super content-oriented and great with the material, also very flexible with schedule pre-mcat. She gets the pre med schedule and works with it. I work research and a MA full time position - for many of us the schedule is often messy - so it’s nice to have someone who accommodates so easily and prepares lectures/practice/anything you need for tutoring lessons. Puts a lot of thoughts in her tutorees.

CARS

Working with Jordon has been so helpful! I had no idea on how I should be approaching this section, but she did! She helped create a strategy that works for me and I’m seeing growth everyday! She’s very kind and supportive! Love working with her!

great teacher, very nice, patient, and interactive

Jordan is a great tutor. She is friendly and very patient with my son. My son said she explained photosynthesis to him better than his teacher. He feels a lot more confident going into his quiz tomorrow. She also helped him learn ways to memorize and provided test taking strategies.
